Ring in the New Year in 1930s Style

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—Dec. 3, 2018—The Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain will celebrate the closing of the year in style with a 1930s New Year’s Eve bash starting at 10 p.m., Dec. 31, 2018.

“This event is the perfect opportunity for us to show an aspect of the shop that most people wouldn’t expect,” said Nolan Sherrill, co-owner of the Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain. “Our origin is a 1930s pharmacy and soda fountain, so we want to return to our roots and celebrate 2019 with a 30s flair.”

All are welcome all day Dec. 31 until 10 p.m. to enjoy New Year’s special menu items, 30’s music and family fun. After 10 p.m., the shop will transform into a full-service bar that features brews from local partners and various mixed drinks for the 21 and up crowd.

Four live bands will perform throughout the night including our 30s swing-band the Old City Buskers.

The event is $40 per person, which includes admission, one drink ticket and hors d’oeuvres. The full Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain menu and additional drinks will be available for purchase throughout the night.
